Apparently you can replace the Android emojis by sticking a custom NotoColorEmoji.ttf in /system/fonts/

Now I have 🏳️‍⚧️ on Android 10

I should build a custom ttf where all the faces are blobcats tbh

@00dani Sadly no since it's in /system, but I heard Android 12 might make the fonts accessible through non-root means

Too bad (or good from security pov) that fonts don't get transmitted with messages and people who don't install the font, only see the standard emojis when you text them with your custom ones.

@xro @00dani This is actually one of the main reasons I didn't replace Noto emoji entirely with Mutant emoji, since Mutant has a lot of completely custom stuff
